WSC held a Appreciation Dinner on 22nd Sept for all WSC volunteers who have commited their time and effort throughout the year to help our respective beneficiaries. This year the dinner was held at NTU Alumni Clubhouse at One-North.
Generally the design of the ballroom was quite ok, there were many comments that it looks more like a chinese wedding dinner and quite a few people were joking about getting married including our past and present youth coordinators :p The dinner was a buffet dinner which dampen the spirits abit since we all preferred it to be a more chinese dinner style like the previous year. However the food was better than last year according to those who attended so that might be a slight comfort.
After the dinner, there was a simple handing over ceremony from the 13th management comm to the 14th management comm. Testimonials were also given out to all active volunteers which is a new initiative starting this year (everyone please get yours from me when i get it from Joan). Some games followed and i believe the finale consisting of the 4 dances brought the most laughter and enjoyment to everyone.
