hey! finally our first ever boys' hostel blog is up! i'm so so so excited about this. credits to Nicole for choosing a nice skin and Desmond for helping with html!! =)

first of all, let me start off by blogging about the session we had last thurs.
as usual, i ended lecture at about 6.30pm and rushed to cant A to meet up with the rest. to my surprise, i only saw Yean Sang there! after that i realised that Nicole and Desmond were actually at the table behind us 'busy-ing' with some interview stuffs. so me and Yean Sang ended up eating Mcd and gosh, the Mcspicy i had was super spicy loh! oops i think i have digressed quite a bit. well, after that Fred and Sherry joined us and we set off at about 7.20pm.( but we were still late by about 5 minutes.) LOL.

as usual, all of us went to tutor the boys in their academic work while Desmond went to have a meeting with the person-in-charge Mr Lim. but something quite special that happened to me on that day was, the boys whom i was attending to were not doing their work. instead, we ended up chit-chatting throughout the whole session. zz.

some of the boys are actually having their 'N' and 'O' level examination this year and it's most pleasing to see them working hard. for instance on that day, other than the 3boys whom i was chit-chatting with, i saw Nicole, Sherri, Fred and Yean Sang being engrossed in tutoring the boys, and from the boys' expressions, i could tell that they were putting in effort too! don't you all think this gives tremendous satisfaction to all of us??! =)

after the session ended, we went to the nearby food court to have our so called 'debriefing session' cos Desmond wanted to discuss something with all of us. it was about improving on the current programs( hmm can't disclose much here). we spent more than 2 hours there discussing and it went a little heated, especially between xxx and xxx. haha!
however, at the end we managed to come up with a win-win solution and we're gonna try it out in our upcoming session. hopefully it works!!!

i think all of us arrived home at about 12 plus that day. tired yet satisfactory. i'm sure all of our volunteers would find that it's all worth it! for the boys, we dare! and we chiong too!! =P
